Hi @macjeff, I see a similar report on the form. The error should show more detail when the iOS Notification Center is pulled down from the top left of the screen. If you get more details please post the screen shot. Also please check the "Test Remote Connection" button for errors.
It says successful. Everything seems to work but randomly that error comes up.

If you have status values, then it is likely an internet issue and the app was disconnected. The app will wait 3 seconds and try connecting again. So if it says connected after 3-5 seconds, then the reconnect was successful.
If you are on a stable connection such as WiFi and the issue persists there may be an issue with ISY -> ISY Portal. This should be easy do diagnose from your home network. Temporarily remove the WiFi SSID from Local Connection Settings and save (no sync required. select cancel). Now the app should connect through ISY Portal.
I am updating today, so will run checks later.
That’s probably it as I was on one to two bar Internet. I also did get a message here in there that said establishing connection attempt one… attempt 2 and then it would connect

Ok to close this but is there a way to PM you.
Sometimes I might have logs and stuff with sensitive info.
Not sure if you use the method inside TestFlight for iOS.
I am here to test and report bugs (Michel hates me because I attract bugs. LOL)

Great. You can always PM me on the forum (at) Javi. We should not need sensitive info with exceptions of UUID for remote diagnostic or UD Mobile backup file (which does not contain credentials).
Adding better error messages for these types of disconnects is on my list, but has a lower priority to other items.
Reopening as issue has been replicated and reported by other users.

ISY Portal returns error:
<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?><s:Envelope xmlns:s=\"http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope\">
or:
"Server error"
Fixed in firmware with ISY service version 5.4.0_2
I ran the 5.4 update this morning and I’m out right now so I’m using the portal method to connect and I’m surprised I haven’t seen this area yet so it might be due to 5.4. Problem is I don’t know how to see the entire errors since it’s cut off so I attached a couple screenshots
