People have observed discontinuities of results between horizontal and vertical receivers planes, for reverberation times and sound levels. See example below: disc

The shown scale is only valid for the first surface receiver. Each surface receiver has a different min/max value (it use min/max of recorded value). If it is not the case a sample project is welcome.

I would also like to mention that by default the surface receiver records normal intensity, so the values depend on angle of incidence what I believe may result in discontinuity.

When in SPL mode in SPPS switch from cut plane to a grid of punctual receivers

where radius=√2*d/2

d is the grid resolution
