subtiltes only appear in ___. why?

i'm sorry, but i'm not very very good at english  :]

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. i can view subtitles on pms 1.24 but i can't on pms 1.31.  english 
characters and numbers appear but korean characters appear like ____.
2. i tried everything i can do to solve it. but it's still not solved. 
3. i think it is the ploblem of pms 1.31.

how do you think about this ploblem? 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.31.0 windows 7 x86

If you are transcoding a media file, which engine are you using (mencoder, 
avisynth/mencoder, tsmuxer?)mencoder

If the media file is in error (or does not play flawlessly), what are the codec 
informations of this file (you can use following program: 
mediainfo.sourceforge.net) ?

Please provide any additional information below and PLEASE JOIN debug.log file

i forgot saying. i did  .mp4 files only because i think it appears only with 
.mp4 format

Sorry if my English is not good...

Thanks to God Finally i found the solution after 2 days of testing
Now subtitles working flawlessly with arabic language with mp4 ext (no lines 
appear like before) 
I Think it will work also for chinese,korean and other languages.

FIRST: You must copy only 2 files (mencoder & mencoder_mt) from Ps3 Media 
Server 1.10.51 and paste it in your installation folder (Programs files 
{x86}\PS3 Media server\win32) which is the version i have Ps3 Media Server 
1.30.1

SECOND: Install avisynth 2.5.7 only because another versions has issue and also 
downlad plugin vsfilter.dll (24.6.2009) copy and paste in (Programs files 
{x86}\Avisynth 2.5\plugins)

When i tried this method everything is working great for me in movies no 
corrupted data, no slow motion, no fast motion no subtitles issue.

I hope this will help and let me know if there is any problem after trying this 
method
