hiss sound when playback a streamed Blu Ray #1205

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. share my PC Blu Ray reader
2. put a Blu Ray with DTS-HD sound track
3. open the file it in my PS3, if I cannot change the sound track, DTS-HD is
converted to hiss sound

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I supposed to ear a good DTS-HD and see on my ampli "dts"

If you are transcoding a media file, which engine are you using (mencoder,
avisynth/mencoder, tsmuxer?)
I've try all of this, I maybe not good to configure...

If the media file is in error (or does not play flawlessly), what are the codec
informations of this file (you can use following program:
mediainfo.sourceforge.net) ?
The file I play, a .m2ts play fine on my PC

I'm surprised this is working at all.
AFAIK DTS-HD can't be streamed, but the core has to be extracted. Don't know
more about this though.
