Media Library refresh #345

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Sometimes after downloading a file it will show up as it should, but if I
try to play it I get the error that the file is invalid/wrong type...
to fix it all I need to do is reboot and recreate the media library, I'm
thinking the file I want to stream is somehow locked up and rebooting
unlocks it, but until I do the media library refresh it will not be playable.
What I'd like to see is in the window where you setup your shares make it
so clicking the search button only searches that share at that time! This
would allow me to setup multiple shares but only update the one I'm trying
to use at that moment, and let the others just continue as they are. As
long as you can select multiple shares too this would also allow you to
refresh all of them if you needed!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 1.10.51

Please provide any additional information below and PLEASE JOIN debug.log
file !!

I have a similar problem. Whenever I save a new video file or subtitles file
where the video file is, the PMS won't refresh that folder on the PS3. I need
to shutdown PMS and run it again to get to see the new files/subtitles.

Using PMS v1.20.412 on Windows 7 Home Premium.

I get this same issue with the latest build of 1.30.1

If I download a new file to the shared directory it does not appear, to see it
I would restart the server

I'm using Linux build, my renderer is Bravia TV
