What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to watch some Friends episodes with subtitles (transcoded)
2. Video starts early then audio.

I am expecting them to be sync.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.10.5

If you are transcoding a media file, which engine are you using (mencoder,
avisynth/mencoder, tsmuxer?)

mencoder

I am using Windows Vista with dual core processor.

Also if I exiting out of video playback on PS3 by pressing O, and then return
back it
works fine.

If using mencoder, did you try toggling the "A/V sync alternative method"
setting?

Im having this problem as well using the same version. I have tried many
different
iso files and can't get any of the A/V to sync correctly.

I have tried the mencoder settings changes that were suggested in the FAQ but
have
had no change at all.

I have tested both wireless and hardwired on my network and had no change at
all.

I have forwarded port 5001 on my router and had no change at all.

Im out of ideas. The video streams great, the audio sounds great, just need
them to
sync up. Currently about 10 seconds off (video is ahead of audio).

Any suggestions??

Switching off "A/V sync alternative method" helped to resolve this. Thanks

something to make this audio sync for my workouts!!!! THANK YOU for your
GENIUS! Switching off the A/V sync alternative method... I have no technical
