PS3 Media Services via Computer Management Services Not Working #415

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Started the PS3 MS software and installed the services
2. Started PS3 MS Services and the PS3 is not finding the PS3 Media Server
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see an output of the PS3 seeing the PS3 Media Server when I
installed the services and start them via the Computer Management Services
which is not working at all. But instead I get a "Red X" when the services
are started to see if everything is operational I get a "Red X". Once I
stop the services via Computer Management and then start the PS3 Media
Server via the GUI everything works fine. I wanted to know how can I get
the PS3 Media Server working automatically if my computer get rebooted via
an Microsoft Windows Update or any other issue.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.10.51 is installed with Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate.

If you are transcoding a media file, which engine are you using (mencoder,
avisynth/mencoder, tsmuxer?) Everything except "AviSynth/FFmpeg" and
"AviSynth/MEncoder"

If the media file is in error (or does not play flawlessly), what are the
codec informations of this file (you can use following program:
mediainfo.sourceforge.net) ? No media file errors.

Please provide any additional information below and PLEASE JOIN debug.log
file !!

I am having the same issue. I have tried reinstalling pms, reinstalling java
also I deleted the service and tried to reinstall that. Nothing makes any
difference

I am using Win7 64 and have been using pms for years but have never had this
problem before

I have attached a screenshot of the error I get when trying to start the
service.

Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly
