the videos pause without any reason #716

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. watch video through ps3 mediaserver
2. the video pauses by itself (showing the two parallel bars of the pause
symbol) and there's no
way to make it restart again from where it was interrupted
3. I have to stop the video and watch it from the beginning

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the whole video, but sometimes it pauses and I have to start
again from the
beginning

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using 1.10.5 version and MAC OS 10.6.2

If you are transcoding a media file, which engine are you using (mencoder,
avisynth/mencoder,
tsmuxer?)

If the media file is in error (or does not play flawlessly), what are the codec
informations of this
file (you can use following program: mediainfo.sourceforge.net) ? I've seen
this happening with
mkv files.

Please provide any additional information below and PLEASE JOIN debug.log file
!!

I have the same problem. High Quality MKV file with file size of 1,8GB.
Watching video and then it just pauzes and does not continue at all. It always
stops at the same time.

If you skip ahead 5-10 seconds it will work again.

It always pauses at the same points, it doesn't happen in all .mkv files, but
happens in some, and always pauses at same times.

Yep, SAME issue with me lately. Random pause during an HD MKV playback
(Wired). All I have to do is skip or even just hit play on the same exact
second on the counter and playback resumes.

Very annoying, what gives???

I'm begginning to get a similar problem, I made comment 3, and made an
identifier.

I'm experiencing that certain .mkv files skip ahead randomly in the file, after
seconds or up to minutes. If you keep watching it will show you pieces of a 20
min show, in about 3-4 minutes, and then pause.

In reality it doesn't skip ahead, not in the time at least. so when it happen,
you can pause, and go into the menu and choose goto (On ps3), and just choose
the same time. The video will then resume from the correct position.

I think this is the same problem, since it at some point tries to jump past the
end of the file, and then just pauses.

This ONLY happens when there is subtitles, if they are disabled it doesn't do
it. Might be because I have the Skip Loop enabled, for .mkv files.
