My Charmander is still in Level 8, not levelling up! #160

I have been using Ankimon since a week now, I have caught around 9 pokemons now, but Charmander level stays at 8 after using it for a week now. Could you please hel me with this problem? Thank you.

Just realised that I have to defeat a pokemon not to catch it level up!
