Readme for noobs #38

I added a TL;DR quickstart section to the REAME.md

I based this on my other PR for adding a go.mod.

The instructions are most useful if the reader is a noob like me (since they would already be using go.mod), but I imagine a non-noob would know enough to adapt the differences in instruction to meet their needs without having introduced anything confusing or unfamiliar.
