Hi, I would like wireguird launch automatically and activate before qbittorrent starts , especially if the computer restarts after a power outage

I'd also like to see some command line option to activate "tunnel x" automatically when launching the program. Whether the launch is done manually (in my case) or automatically (like @carlito13500), is up to the user's system autostart configuration. But for automatically activating a tunnel, we'd need this funcction in WireGUIrd.

Salut @pkoevesdi , j'ai finalement paramétré une connexion réseau wireguard et sélectionné l'interface dans qbittorrent 2024-01-14 11_43_37-lititem - Proxmox Virtual Environment — Mozilla Firefox 2024-01-14 11_47_40-lititem - Proxmox Virtual Environment — Mozilla Firefox

Hi @pkoevesdi , I finally set up a wireguard network connection and selected the interface in qbittorrent

I don't use qbittorrent, but thanks for pushing me towards setting up wireguard in the ubuntu network manager. I tried it several times, years ago and never got it to work, but this time it did, as described here. I still couldn't set it up within the standard network settings of Ubuntu 23.10, but after setting it up with nm-connection-editor, it shows up there and can be switched on and off. So, wireGUIrd is obsolete for me.

Still thanks to the developer(s) for publishing it! It still has it's value, because we can import a tunnel, and must not fiddle around with these network manager dialogs.
