Cannot run the patcher on Linux Mint 21.2 x86_64 #1039

I have wine and winetricks installed together with dotnet40.

When I try to run the patcher (UnofficialCrusaderPatch_2.15b.zip) I get this error

Wine not initiliazed correctly. After clearing all wine folder and reinitillized again, installer run ok

Is there something useful going on here that should we document for other wine users?
