i watch a problem of the KI for example Saladin. After some time he stops attacking and only earns money.

I also noticed this in vanilla Crusader from time to time. If you could upload a save file where this is happening I could take a look.

Hi,

I thought such a situation was always caused by not enough houses and no campfire peasants but apparently not :(

Saw this happening in a match where I was allied with Sultan recently (with him starting on 40,000 gold along with all computer players), after a while he only seemed to recruit slingers for raids despite having over 30,000 gold and enough peasants around the campfire. Thought he would at least start creating loads of Arabian swordsmen when he was under siege so I didn't help him out when he asked me, but no he didn't, and he got killed by The Abbot eventually.

Very annoying :(

I've noticed this too. The problem is sometimes caused by Archers on attacks. I think the AI is constantly trying to send them to a specific position, but if it's inaccessible then the archers don't move and twitch in place. I think the AI is constantly ordering them to move then stopping the order simultaneously and it locks up the attack force. Might be pathfinding issue, tbh.

Indeed it is sometimes caused by that but I checked around the map and there didn't seem to be any of Sultan's Arabian archers trapped in place.

Anyway the AI eventually recalls any trapped archers/horse archers for the next siege, although it can take them a long time to do that.
