Solving the stone problems once and for all? #320

That's a commonly well known glitch. Ofc it's considered cheating, but for AI probably it's too much to find a better solution. I thought about if couldn't just the Ox tethers be completly removed from atomatically being build by all of the AIs, but all AIs reworked, so that players themselves would build a single Ox tether + worker inside their base in the AIV Editor and with correct timing enclose both with walls layers (it would make the AI automatically teleport the gathered stone from whole map right to the stockpile - Considering that afaik there still isn't any solution found about the Ox and Stone Quarries crap in the around. Let me know your thoughts.

@Truetobi91 You don't need to surround the Stone Quarries stocking piles with wall segments in order to do this glitch. It's enough to just immure a single ox tether together with its worker in your own base in between walls, doesn't matter where, the only point in making it work properly is that you Need the worker stand right next to his tether, and once he does that, then immure him - fast enough, before he'll head up to a quarry. (or just build him ahead of all the quarries and close him in when he's next to the tether. Would be enough). It'll automatically pick-up stone from whole the map at light-speed and drop it on the stockpile without walking. It can partially work through the AIV already, it'll be less effective tho, because the AI uses to spawn the oxes ofc, so the "taking" would split in between all of the Oxes, the quarries would be empty anyway, because the single immured Ox tether would be faster, yet still not fast enough to steal all the stone right from under the noses of the other Ox tethers.

@Truetobi91 To be more accurate and fastly saying: The only rule is that neither the ox tether or the stone quarry deposit can't have a passable connection with eachother. It doesn't really matter which of these are you immuring, better immure the Ox tether tho, instead of all the quarries with missplaced deposists you've got.

Actually I was wrong. Needed time to figure it out. The Ox also must have the stockpile next to it, so that's the whole mechanism I've estabilished: obraz This way either the stockpile is locked from dropping any other type of resource from either side, while the Ox is being cut off from the game (teleports the stone in). Sadly only to this one stockpile, but whatever, not a big deal.

Whats wrong with the ox tether fix from the patch? I think it would be too much work to implement something like this in every AI castle and since this system does work (AI normally gets stone by using a quarry) why exchange it to a glitch? I would rather prefer an AI using a special quarry with implemented ox tether than that.
