Texture Pack in the next patch. #516

I have noticed that many people have their own texture developments for Stronghold Crusader. I think they should be added to choose from in the next patch. We make a separate tab in the patch settings. I think it will be interesting for everyone to play with different textures packs.

(I am still not a fan of including content creator stuff in the UCP, but for something, where you also have to edit the position where you have your sprites placed, probably including it in the UCP would be better than a separate patcher).

I'd love to see some of these alternative texture packs. Havent found any except for copying stronghold graphics into crusader folder...

I'd love to have the option to choose the Stronghold Europe textures, that would be really cool if that would be possible with a feature in the UCP.

Yea, that's not going to happen. First off, it means taking another modders work and claiming it as our own. A real jerk move. If we were to redevelop it from scratch maybe, but not taking their work. Secondly, it means we are taking responsibility for supporting their mod, which we do not want to do.

having the ability to add "texturepacks" and enableing them "onthefly" ingame or in the patcher would be a good feature through. it doesnt have to tbe stronghold europe as there are other versions out there. Making them more accessible through this would bring forward the textureing szene also (you dont have to pack the packs witht he ucp just add the ability to apply them with it)
