Because I want to repeat skirmish trail with the new AIC's and AIV, I thought it would be really cool if the troop limit could be disabled just like in the Extreme version of the game. That would allow the AI to unleash their full potential when there are a lot of castles on the map and at the same time allow me to siege with huge armies.

This cannot be done. I'm sorry. It's in the "too much work" basket. As far as I am aware it would be easier to make the game from scratch than to modify the exe (which is the only way available to us) to allow for an increased troop limit.

However it might be possible to copy the crusader skirmish trail into the extreme game at some point. Like customizable skirmish trails are also a requested feature.
