- MacTeX - for those looking to install a local LaTeX distribution
- TeXShop - a local LaTeX editor for Mac
- LaTeXiT - a tool that allows you to quickly typeset and generate equations using LaTeX math mode
- Overleaf templates - all sorts of templates for all sorts of purposes! (CVs, research articles, reports, etc)
A beginner-oriented introduction to writing scientific documents with LaTeX.
Much of the session will be interactive / code-along, and we will be using Overleaf, an online LaTeX editor. Please be sure to make a free Overleaf account prior to the lesson if you would like to code along!

Installation Instructions: We will be using Overleaf, an online LaTeX editor, so if you don't already have an account, it would save time to make one prior to the lesson. Alternatively, if you prefer a different LaTeX editor, that's fine. Given that this will be a code-along lesson, having 2 monitors may be helpful, although it's possible to follow along with just one.
