Winter 2023 Schedule + Call for Instructors #517

Closed aays closed 11 months ago

aays commented 1 year ago

Hi all!

Below is our Winter 2023 schedule. This time around, we are only running biweekly lessons, based on the results of the survey that we sent out at the end of last year. All lessons will be streamed on our Discord, which we'd also recommend joining if you generally would like to keep up with the community.

We are also planning to run the last two lessons in-person (with snacks!), hopefully at the MADLab (confirmation pending), and will have more details on this soon. Finally, this is also an open call for instructors for some of the lessons listed below. If you are interested in teaching, read on!

Please note that Gerstein Library now requires a TCard for entry, which means anyone wishing to attend lessons at the MADLab will need to have a TCard to enter. If you wish to attend an in-person lesson but do not have a TCard, please let us know by the Monday before the lesson at uoftcoders@gmail.com so that we can pass on your name to the front desk at Gerstein.

Lessons this semester will once again take place every other week on Wednesdays from 6-7 pm. Be sure to join the mailing list if you'd like email reminders before each lesson, or follow us on Twitter!

Here's the full schedule! Several of the lessons do not have instructors yet -- if you are interested in teaching any of the sessions that do not already have instructors, please comment below or reach out to us at uoftcoders@gmail.com!
