Makes sense to me! I'll add proofing copies with the next build/commit.
In the meantime, you can import the individual example HTML files directly into Twine with the import command, and then you can use the proofing command. (But that means you have an extra step.)
I've added proofing copies to the examples. Note the currently the proofing copies don't include any JavaScript that you would see or edit with Twine's "Story Javascript" command.
The examples right now are very cool but it's hard to copy the effects as the original syntax can't immediately be derived from the html. The proofing copies should help with that.
