After the player drops to a certain hunger level (3 out of 10), the wings instantly stop working, and the player plummets to the ground. While it's somewhat accurate to the myth of Icarus, I believe it to be an unnecessarily rough reminder to keep hunger at bay. Perhaps an option to disable powered flight at low hunger, while still retaining elytra-like gliding could be more reasonable. This way the player would have time to react to their hunger level, instead of having a panicked fit as they dive to their untimely death.
