Eco Points mismatch? #5

Open stevietv opened 4 years ago

I see in account list my eco points listed as 92k, in game 98k. any idea about this discrepancy?

Mine is low too. I can look into it some time, but did you account for all your civil ships, lanxes and gates? Those categories count 50% toward your eco points. But I think I have accounted for those in mine mostly and I'm still 2M low.

all my ships are entered yep, except for the ships on my moon as I can't seem to enter moon fleet seperatly

I made several improvements to the point calculations, but I'm pretty sure I've replicated both my accounts with 100% accuracy in my app and I'm still seeing small discrepancies:

Heres my data, pretty similar to yours with that 300k and 30k.

Checked against AGR in game and my def/ships match exactly

Type In Game In App Variance
Total 110.103M 110.42M +317k (~0.29%)
Eco 98.865M 99.207M +342k (~0.35%)
Mil 6.633M 6.6037M -29.3k (~0.44%)
Research 10.716M 10.716M 0%

Since the game doesn't break down where the points are coming from at all, I'm at a loss for how to debug this. As much as I dislike doing this, I think I'll have to be ok with discrepancies of <1% for now. I'll leave this open in case anyone has any ideas though.

think I have to agree with you, the improvement you made brings it much more accurate, and in the end its a statistic only.
