Site don't work #62

Hi. Not sure if this is the right place,but have no other places to tell this,so I do it here. I tried to open https://up1.ca/ ,but the site isn't working (aka down).. it says Browser and CLoudflare is working,but says "Error" on Host. Please fix it as soon as you see this

So What kind of site like up1.ca that do the same thing,same anonymousity and encryption if up1.ca no longer exist? where you see the photo before download and same with clips that u can watch before download,but also a notepad included

One last thing before you can close this comment. Are the developers of up1.ca going to make any other websites such as up1.ca or other things`? if so.. what kind and where do I find it?

oh forgot one more thing. is there any other site like up1.ca if not up1.ca or https://share.riseup.net/ in case that goes down as well? or maybe a software for windows 10 that do the same.. Is there any software that do the same thing as up1.ca (just in case that link no longer works)?

up1 is just a software which anybody can download and host. i did a quick google search and found a few more instances: https://uploade.es/ https://up.nerdby.net/ http://exactly.one/

i like the domain of the last one but it doesnt seem to have https, which makes it insecure and you probably shouldnt use it. even with the ones who use https, you dont know if they have tampered with the software. its up to you to choose who you trust

i dont think the developers will run another 'official' instance. up1.ca was just a demo

Now to another question that has nothing to do with up1.ca,but I got none else to ask. Do you know any anonymous and encrypted url shortener without no logs,no trace? it has to be one where it has only 1 or 2 letters at the end of the url shortener after the long url has been shortened.

If i decided to host instance like it was with up1.ca for free w https and all security measures (no ads or w/e) - would you link to it on official github page? Also did ShareX add up1.ca on their own, or you asked for it?

This project would not support any particular third party host of up1. The up1 support in sharex was initially implemented by a developer on up1 but is now in mainline sharex and out of the control of this project.

Any plans to revive up1.ca? Can someone explain the reasons of the shutdown in detail please? Thank you so much 💗

Does anyone know any URL shortener with these things?:

  1. Anonymous and encrypted.
  2. No logs whatsoever,no trace of any kind or any kind of trace,Nothing saved on the server.
  3. No Siterules/TOS (aka Terms of Service)
  4. No registration/Login
  5. 3 letters after the generated short url. i'll give an example on the number 5 one. lets say I wanted to shorten the link www.google.com and I used the url shortener yrl.us ,it would create for example yrl.us/12c .. thats what i call a 3-letters URL shortener. Too bad yrl.us went down and no longer exist.. too bad. Just wish I knew any other URL shortener like that which have these 5 things I mentioned above. If you know any,please do let me know

One more thing.. And about these 3 filesharing site you gave me: https://uploade.es/ , https://up.nerdby.net/ , http://exactly.one/ is perfect,but now http://exactly.one/ doesn't work or work anymore.. What happened to http://exactly.one/ ? And does it exist any other filesharingsite just like these links https://uploade.es/ , https://up.nerdby.net/ , http://exactly.one/ that do the same things and are anonymous and ecrypted etc,no logs etc and without siterules and no registration/Login (except these and other just like them with different names)?

If the site is no longer maintained, I'd recommend removing it from the README. Broken links leave a bad impression for a project, especially one dealing with encryption and security. It makes it look unmaintained or insecure. It's also hard to get people to use a pastebin if they can't see it. Just my opinion :)
