Cannot dump my laptop's EC register #46

Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is. image As you can see, I cannot see information of my EC register. To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior. Just open the ec-probe.exe on command prompt, and dump command. Expected behavior A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen. I wanted to see my EC register's information, but I couldn't see anything. System information

Additional context Add any other context about the problem here. Can't I use NBFC? I wanted to make this laptop's fan speed always 100%.

I have the exact same problem. Also with an Asus. Asus ZenBook UX534FT

I also tried with RWEverything, as suggestted on the wiki, but I have the same result, all values of the EC shown are 00

Random guess, but have you tried running cmd.exe as administrator or with elevated privileges?

Edit: and for another guess, do you know your SecureBoot status via BIOS settings?

My cmd has no other way to run but as administrator 😅 And secure boot is disabled.

In fact, I did a clean install of windows last week due to various reasons, and it helped solving the problem with my gpu fan, that was not turning on every time the gpu temperature started to raise.

But still being able to control it's speed manually would be literally cool. Bad news, even with the clean install I'm not able to dump the EC register and RWEverything also appears blank.
