[ ] Update current Backend type to wrap a Popgetter (this will hold metadata and provide API for searching and getting data requests)
[ ] Add tests with wasm-bindgen-test in rust_backend
[ ] Confirm Backend initialises (i.e. Popgetter collects metdata) upon loading page
