Shorter names for datasets

From Matt: Consider shortening dataset names for convenience. Perhaps they could each begin with schools, districts, or colleges. And datasets should be listed in a more intuitive order. Perhaps Erica and co can propose a list of shortened names.

I've changed this in the upcoming development version, but I think we should discuss this, both with an eye toward making these names simpler, and toward implementing this in the API instead of hard-coding.
