Suggestion for future release #32

What do you think of adding an option that lets users pull in variables names/labels and value labels but no data? So you'd run something like educationdata using "college ipeds directory", labelsonly and it would return basically the metadata which you could then use to figure out what you want to request?

I'm wondering if this would be easier for some people than poking through the API site, which doesn't always line up perfectly with the Stata package.

Not a priority -- just a thought.

I really like this idea. I'll add it to the next release if possible.
