Implement ?mode=stata argument for API logging #45

From Dave: We are logging the calls to the API and I was wondering if you could add a parameter easily to your calls that would identify if the user was accessing the API via R or Stata. I think adding something like ?mode=R or ?mode=stata to the URLs would allow us to identify the different access methods.
