How to add a third layer?

Hi, this is actually not an "issue" but a question.

I need to do something similar to your cidades-estados, but in three
layers. In the first the user will select a general kind of object (i.e.
food or chemical products). In the second, it will explain it better (i.e.
for food, meat, eggs or vegetables). And in the third one, the final level
of specification (i.e. for meat, chicken, pork or cow). It will be based in
the already existing SITC table, but I couldn't develop it from your
application. I will be very glad if you can show me how to do it, or point
me the direction...
