Very interesting project! I was wondering what your hypothesis is. Which test-group do you expect to obtain the best recall rate, and what prior research makes you think this?

Our hypothesis is that additional visual information improves the recall ability of participants when learning translational facts. Moreover, we expect that the condition for which images only are shown after incorrect answers will result in the best performance, because there is no distraction of "unnecessary" images whereas there is the support of additional images when needed, which could lead to the most effective learning way. Finally, prior research done by Lindner (2009) makes us think that visual information enhances translational learning, as he found that visual learning results in better performance than auditory learning, which indicates that there is an upside to visual learning.
