A license capable for this project needs at least the following:

The decision was made that commercial use should also be allowed. GNU GPL v3.0 (http://choosealicense.com/licenses/gpl-3.0/) was selected as a candidate but the license is too complex for our project. The new candidate is the MIT license (http://choosealicense.com/licenses/mit/).

The license decision is dependent on the APIs used, see Issue #4 for details.

Additionally to the JavaMail API is the candidate API for encryption, wolfCrypt, also licensed under GNU GPL v2.0 for non commercial use.

The decision was made that the MIT license shall be used until the decision upon used APIs has been made.
