   • template could be very short. I type something like: "Thank you for your interest in [NAME WORKSHOP]. I've put you on the waiting list and one of the workshop instructors will contact you in the week before the workshop if a spot has become free." For Intro to R I usually also mention that they should keep the day reserved in their calendar because it often happens that there is space for the waitlisted people.
3. Workshop: "closing information" > maybe add: "For example, point to our other workshops and services (walk-in hours, info.rdm@uu.nl, programming cafe, etc.), and ask explicitly for participants' feedback on the workshop."
4. Post-workshop: I'm missing the potential provision of certificates for participants who ask for this
5. Quarterly review: maybe mention that this is about the review of the workshop contents, as we do the larger review once a year
6. Proposal to rename this chapter into something like "Workshop checklist" or "Workshop instructor responsibilities" or something
