Some initial content for this page off the top of my head:

About

E-learnings are self-paced online modules made in the ULearning platform. ULearning is the UU implementation of Moodle, an open source learning platform. It is a shielded environment, only accessible to people with a Solis ID, or with a specially created account. This way it is possible to track who is enrolling in a module and how they are progressing in the module. It also allows participants to interact with each other via chat and discussion threads.

Development

Current e-learnings

We currently have 2 e-learnings:

FAIRifying materials

Although ULearning is only accessible via log-in, it is possible to make the materials available to a wider audience, albeit not in the nice, interactive way. You can make an export of a course and publish it. We did this for example for Privacy Basics for Researchers, where we also included all learning goals and course content (in pdf): https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.7930571.

Tracking statistics

The Education Support department regularly tracks the participation in the e-learnings. On top of that, Dorien has developed a script to analyse the stats for the Privacy Basics e-module here: https://www.dorienhuijser.com/PBfR_stats/PBfR_stats.html.

Maintenance

Should we also establish a 'lead' for the e-learnings? So this person can be admin and also check and analyse the stats? And review the material once a year?
