Scrap Metal/Metal Parts Economy is severely low (feat. suggestions for the snowy "PvP Arena")

With how rare guns are now with the new economy, it is extremely hard to try and catch up in a server that is even slightly built up either by a few people or just one. The biggest wall is Scrap Metal for crafting the guns and other items. I still believe they should be rare, but there should be alternate means of getting them. Here are some suggestions:

• Craft Scrap Metal from dismantling 4 of any gun barrel/gun kit/Metal Stock by putting them in the Workshop/Workbench

• Similar to Animal Crossing's rare chance of getting junk from fishing, add a very rare chance of getting seeds or Scrap Metal when fishing (chance of it on par or more rare than Artic Char and there is not set way to farm it to avoid people camping certain areas of the map)

• Improve the state of the "PvP arena" (northeast section of the map) by any single or combination of these ideas (to help avoid people camping the area constantly w/ very little repercussions):

  1. Have the PvP arena spawn in different parts of the map each server reset (also helps add variety to each playthrough/technically involved as you would need more copies of the map or code a way to change the map w/o needing more copies)
  2. Have the PvP arena be an island of its own that people pay a fee to enter in a 1v1 w/ random weapons that are taken away after each 1v1; those who win will receive the items that would usually come from the chests that spawn in the area (more technically involved/would also need a PvE AI in case server is not active)
  3. Have the chests spawn in the arena ONLY when 2+ people enter at the same time; once triggered, any other people that are not inside will be blocked by an invisible barrier until only one person remains and they leave the arena (less technically involved but could have lag be a factor in the wall not closing off in time)
  4. Have PvP arena/engaging in PvP drop special currency for a PvP-related vendor or special items that can be bought with said PvP currency (NOTE: Would have to either grant a grace/invincibility period for newly-spawned/spawned-from-death players, as well as spawning dead players INSIDE their tent/house instead of the door to avoid griefing and possible farming of players due to said exploit)

Lengthy suggestion post I know, but I feel these suggestions would greatly benefit not only the economy of the game for newer/later-joining players, but also a way to encourage PvP for those who are usually more PvE oriented.
