Add luxury height and tilt adjustments to ViCase-Stand

Item Description

V1

VESA to VESA holder. One side screws to ViCase-Stand, the other side screws to the Display. The holder ads tilt and height adjustment.

V2

Same as the above, but only tilt. Look for low cost, like 15 USD.

Purpose

Many high quality monitor stands let you tilt, turn, and rotate the display. Currently, the ViPC AiO has a single way a monitor can be mounted. Instead of making the stand itself more complicated, the idea is to use current market VESA swivel joints to give users the freedom to over their display

Options

VideoSecu ML411B Adjustable Tilt Swivel Rotation TV Wall Mount https://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Adjustable-Rotation-Bracket-Monitor/dp/B0016CDE0E/ref=sr_1_10?

-$10 cost -3inch width (pretty lengthy) -Rotation, swivel, tilt options. -supports up to 27inch monitor.

-$16 -1.75inch width -Up/down tilt -monitors up to 30 lbs

Pyle

-$14 -max 33 lbs -appears to be movable without screws -has to be drilled into wall

As far as I can tell, this model can be moved around without tightening or loosening screws. I asked a question about it on the amazon page and awaiting a response.

Thoughts

For something like this, up and down tilt is all a user is going to need (all-in-ones only really have up and down tilt anyway). The last entry seems like a good one to go with since it has up and down tilt and supports all VESA sizes.

Review of Bobby's research

Thank you for your research and for posting all the pictures in here. Very helpful. I took the liberty to change the link to a markdown picture like so: . This way you can see them directly.

Sadly, all these VESA mounts have the following problems:

  1. They are for permanent mount. That is e.g. for permanent mount of a display to the wall. E.g. a display in an airport or in an restaurant
  2. Mounting the display will be difficult
  3. Simple titl adjustment would not be possible. You would first need to loosen the screw, then tilt, then fasten the screw. The screw is very inaccessible. You would need a special screw driver that is very long
    • [x] Can you continue searching for mounts that allow tilting by the user?
    • [x] Please consider if the up and down tilt we currently have is sufficient. It works OK. The user can adjust it. It may feel primitive, but it is effective!

Notes on managing issues: You created a new issue, which was on the same topic as this one. As such I closed that issue and moved its content to here

Updated a model (Pyle).

Given current market products aren't really giving the ease of use I'm looking for, the current way you have it should be effective. Once were fast forwarding a bit, I'd want to implement a better design for giving users a more friendly screen adjustment.
