Changes vs v1

Plan v21. Tape out PCBs first and put to production

  1. Tape out PCBs first and put to production
  2. Find Aluminum Raw Material. Get pricing. Get dimensions of sheets
  3. New Design for 2 mm parts. Optimize dimensions for high sheet usage
  4. Buy Alu materials and Tool-Bits for 2 mm samples
  5. Prepare Video and Parts for 3D Viewer so you can show in Tablet
  6. ML, TL, XM visit CNC street
    • Show: Video and Parts in Tablet
    • Show Material and Tools real parts
    • Show 1:1 Printout (To get a feel for size and to use to check the CNC cut part later)
    • Get price only for CNC cutting time and only for this sample at this time
      • We bring material, bits and we do the surface finish
      • Top cover need two copies, as later we need to anodize in black and red color.
    • Prospect = Motivation. If they do one job right, they will also get the next one:
      1. 1 pcs Sample 2 mm
      2. Production 2mm 20 pcs
      3. Production 2 mm 100 pcs
    • Deal:
      • They cut today or tomorrow
      • During cut ML will be present to record any problems that we should fix in 20 pcs production
  7. ML, HC: Review & Payment
    • Check that all dimensions are correct by comparing to 1:1 print outs
    • Check critical dimensions with caliper (according to list of critical dimensions)
    • If passed, pay and take the part, if fail, ask shop to repair and try again
  8. Update Design of 6 mm parts to reflect changes of 2 mm parts
  9. After all the steps completed for 2 mm parts, repeat for 6 mm parts. Do not put to anodizing yet.
  10. BTL the CNC cut housing (w/o anodizing)
  11. Critical Review
    • Create a list of known changes for Pilot Run.
    • Make full documentation so Bobby can review the housing just as if he has it in hand
    • Get OK from everybody that this housing is good enough for Bobby's final review
  12. Send Housing to Anodizing
    • All parts black except for 2nd copy of Top Cover
    • We can safe at least 7 days if we skip this step at this time?
  13. Send ViCase to Bobby for final review
