Same but for me the items are invisible until I click the slot in which an item should be. :(

Same problem here. It happens only on multiplayer for some reason.

Are you sure the items are actually gone? I have seen the same issue, but clicking on a slot where there is an item causes them to reappear.

They do reappear if you click on the slot after a short time. But if you logout or wait some time, they disappear completely.
