Strange Characters #23

Hello there. I have built a few cards and I have 2 stubborn cards showing the exact same character corruption. This is in my IIe PAL version. All other cards I made are working perfectly using your latest firmware. First pic shows the APPLEII boot screen and the second is me typing asdfgh. Any ideas? One of the cards did give me correct characters one but after a software reset it went back to showing me this. AppleII ASDFGH

I just compiled the original AppleII-VGA firmware and tested and characters are displaying correctly. Could this be a timing issue or something else?

It could be timing, or incorrectly detecting the machine type. It looks like it is picking up the machine as an unenhanced II/II+/IIe without the lowercase font. With the latest firmware and utilities you can try forcing the machine type.
