9 years ago (+) small manual for setting up the virtualbox step-by-step. So no vagrant is required at all and thus is rather a convenience than a requirement. (?)

Currently no manual exist for the installation of vagrant, which is a vm to set up grit und can be used for development. (Strongly recommended!)
