Smoothness of modwheel parameter changes (filter) #44

When I tweak the cut off with the knob or via MW the filter is not smooth. Very steppy. When tweaked via an envelope or a LFO it sound perfectly smooth though. Is there a way to also get the filter smooth using the wheel (MW)?

To test this last finding I routed the mod wheel to the sustain of envelope 2 that controls the filter cut off (does it?). But the mod wheel can't control the sustain or I am missing an important thing in the matrix? However mouse tweaking envelope 2's sustain knob should sound the same as tweaking the cut off knob itself but it doesn't. When I tweak the decay knob and set it back to the original value then the behaviour of the sustain changes and after tweaking decay again (and again set it back to the original position) then the same problem comes back. The behaviour of sustain can best be described as leaking. Sometimes a 0 setting is actually 0 but sometimes it's not.

image I tested your modwheel to filter cutoff scenario. On a second thought: could it be that a solution for you would be to change the curve value as in the picture? This fixed it for me.

Please check the pre-release - it should fix it. https://github.com/VASTDynamics/Vaporiz ... ag/v.3.4.1 Or direct download for Windows (I am building macOS later): https://github.com/VASTDynamics/Vaporiz ... _3.4.1.zip
