VAST Installer 3.4.1 (and 3.4.0) MacOS 64 on Ventura 13.6.2 fails #48

Both the 3.4.0 and the 3.4.1 installer for MacOS 64 encounter a terminal failure at the end of the script. "An error occurred during installation." "The Installation Failed. The Installer encountered an error which caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." The last good installer on my system was 3.3.0. No other information is available.

At the end of the installation the installer tries to copy files to your user folders: ~/Documents/Vaporizer2/ Do you have admin rights on the system? In any case, even if the last step fails, the plugins should be installed. Ist hat not the case?

Can you please check this here; https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254577500?sortBy=best https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mchld5a35146/mac

Control access to files and folders on Mac Some apps and websites can access files and folders in your Desktop, Downloads and Documents folders. You can decide which apps and websites are allowed to access files and folders in specific locations.

Choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Privacy & Security in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)

Click Files and Folders on the right.

For each app in the list, turn the ability to access files and folders in specific locations on or off.

Yes, Tobias, the plug-in v3.4.1 was installed correctly.

I'll copy the user presets into the Documents/Vaporizer folder manually.

Thanks, John

I checked the system settings, but VAST Dynamics doesn't show up on the list for Files and Folders access. Could it be somewhere else?
