How to Exclude a link from been re-written

Please provide URLs which should this problem (If you do not we cannot help
you): http://www.infostridesforum.com

Please describe this problem in detail: Whenever I select "boards" to be
rewritten, my http://www.infostridesforum/chat keeps redirrecting to
homepage. Is there a way to exclude http://www.infostridesforum.com/chat
from being affected or rewritten by Pretty-url.

What version of the mod, and what version of SMF are you using?
Pretty URLS --  1.0RC
SMF -- 1.1.10

What other mods do you have installed?

I have checked and applied rule as prescribed in Issue 80 but there is no 
difference. Instead of going to http://www.infostridesforum.com/chat it keeps 
reddirecting me to http://www.infostridesforum.com/chat/?pretty;board=chat.0 
which 
shows homepage.

please help!
