To create an ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID), follow these steps:

  1. Go to the ORCID website: Visit https://orcid.org/register to begin the registration process.
  2. Fill in your details: Provide your UVM email address and create a password for your ORCID account.
  3. Personal Information: Enter your personal information such as your name, country, and affiliation.
  4. Security Settings: Set up your security preferences, including security questions and recovery email.
  5. Terms and Conditions: Agree to the ORCID terms and conditions.
  6. Verification: Verify your email address. You'll receive an email with a verification link.
