Visualizations: thumbnail styling updates for Phase 2 #124

Discussed in the 9/13/2021 EDA WG meeting.

The expand icon looks similar to an X to close the thumbnail. It would be preferable to make the entire thumbnail clickable to go to the expanded view. This will require moving all of the icons outside of the clickable thumbnail

Also we need to add a synchronize icon that becomes active when the thumbnail is out of sync with the current subset image
