for protected studies with passive approval, the requestor is supposed to get an email when the approval goes through. we had an email from someone who had requested access to a study but never received notice that they could access the data. so this needs to be fixed
we tried to test… but there is a 5 day delay between request and approval and our request kept getting deleted from the database before we could check!
