@jernestmyers just checking - is the below the expected view for no configuration with this PR? I know the other PR disables steps if they're not ready, so I'm sure the two of them together do it all!

Yes, this PR only shows the removal of the default configurations. The companion PR was branched off of this work though, so it's possible to see it all wired together through that PR alone.
