A way to disable some of the fixes by category. E.g. disable graphics fixes but let controls fixes. #135

I use this fix primarily because of the problems with Xbox 360 controls. But I'm satisfied with the original game 4:3 aspect ratio. But by enabling the fix I have to play the game in widescreen which stretches things like the radar.

There is a way to workaround this, which is putting some 4:3 resolution and enabling windowed mode, but playing in a window is annoying too.

Is there a way to disable the graphics fixes? I find the vibration of controller very annoying, but was able to disable it in the config files. Is there a way to do something similar for the other fixes?

Sorry for the VERY late reply.

Technically...not directly.

Is there actually a way to play the game in 4:3 with lateral black bars?

I can't make the GOG version neither the original retail version to make it working like that. Did you succeded somehow?

I'm using the recent GOG version. Without the fix, 4:3 with lateral bars is how the game started by default. I just increased the resolution but it didn't changed the aspect. As the graphics were ok, I didn't mind tweaking it. I just wanted to fix the controllers.

I don't know about the original. The recent GOG release, with the fix, I never managed to make it work in 4:3 with bars. All the combinations I tried resulted in 16:9 with stretched 2d graphics.
