As a developer, I need full access to Cache 2014 #22

Windows 2012 is set up, but we need full access to Cache 2014. We only have access to Studio. With Cache, Kevin can set up roles and log-ins.

We need BC to grant Kevin and Mike administrative rights on the 2014 Cache environment. 2014 Cache should be running on both the Linux RedHat and Windows servers.

This issue is still outstanding. Need to confirm with Kevin.

An account has been created for us on the Linux server but it has a script in it that automatically takes us into VistA. If we can remove or modify it so it takes us to the VistA prompt, then we can get into VistA on our own. We are waiting for a response from BC regarding management access to the LInux servers themselves for access to Cache. We will also need to be able to get out of the VistA environment and get back to the VistA prompt so we can use Fileman and the programmers' utilities.

Added another note to ticket #4052 asking for system manager access to the Linux server in order to set up Cache 2014.

Kevin received access to the Linux server and is setting up the desktop today.

VikkiM commented 8 years ago

The Linux box did not include Cache 2014

BC pinged Tony from his team regarding Cache 2014

Per BC, there is a command called C control (C session) to interact with Cache. It's installed in the \SRV folder. Kevin verified that he can see Cache 2014. CPM environment is set up.
