What parameters in particular are allowed for ior and mdtest are not listed. We need to be as explicit as possible to avoid inadvertent cheating. Also, we need to be sure intents are listed to avoid incorrect parameter selection.

Great idea. Potentially a slightly better solution is to have a single variable for every possible parameter and then get rid of generic 'other' into which people can put arbitrary stuff. Especially for hard. Then we can easily check whether they pass more than one string to each parameter and reject illegalities.
