Any idea how it could work with a voron trident #14

Do you have any idea how it could work with a voron trident?

may be you have an idea and some kind of picture to show how :-)

The Voron Trident use the same XY gantry as the 2.4 (it is just bolted in place); thus, the tool-change mechanism and dock should already works for it, without any modification needed. The bits that need to be changed are the XLR panels and the Nudge (calibration probe) mount.

In other words, it should be pretty easy to do. However, I can't afford (or have) a Trident to work with.

So... either:

  1. Someone, who have a Trident, pick up that tab. (most likely... hopefully)
  2. The project got popular enough and get noticed by someone who is willing to sent me a Trident. (better not get your hope up)
  3. I save up the funds needed for a Trident. (early-mid 2025)

Oh wait. I just check the Trident manual for the dimensions. The XLR panels should fit.

Thanks a lot, I own a Voron Trident and I'll go back and try it out, thanks again
