Finding a solution to replace the original DC Power Jack #1

Hi, I've found your project only yesterday while I was (again and again) looking for a DC Power Jack compatible with my dear DMG. Past few years, I asked various sellers for this DMG part, but every time, same answer : it doesn't exist :\

But your project brings me some hope :) The way you connect a GBC DC Power Jack to your new mother board looks quite interesting.

Do you think your solution would work with the original DMG mother board after some modifications ?

Hi unfortunately new DC jack will not fit the original mainboard. I have replacement original DC jacks. If you want I can send one to you for free (I'm in Italy). For me it is sufficient that you pay the shipping. Best, V1S

How nice of you :) Thx for your suggestion. In fact, my idea was to contribute to the DMG community to find a solution with DC Power Jack replacement.

Do you think it would be possible to create a mini PCB to adapt a GBC DC Jack Power on a DMG motherboard ?

At the moment, I have no idea. There is a need to find a DC jack with a proper height and pin location and a little bit of fantasy.

Hi there, After few months and still no elegant solution to replace the DC Power Jack, I think I'm going to replace mine by another official DC Power Jack.

Can you sell me 2 of these please ?
